In Japan Sailor Jupiter's name is Kino Makota, which means,
"strength of the tree". In the DIC dubbed (and cut)
version her name is Lita. She was born on December 5th,and her
sign is Sagittarius. Her blood type is O, and her favorite
colors are Green and Sugar Pink. Lita has a fear of airplanes
because both of her parents died in an plane crash. She lives on
her own.
Lita goes to
Crossroads Junior High in Tokyo Japan. In the Japanese version
she goes to Juuban High School along with all the inner scouts
except Mars. Lita was kicked out of her original school because
she got into WAY too many fights with other students.
Lita seems to be the only scout crazier about boys than Serena.
Lita has had SO many boyfriends that every time she dumps
an old one and finds a new one she will say something like,
"He is a lot like my old boyfriend don't you think, Tres
cool!" This makes me wonder how many guys she has
actually been out with. Lita is a very good cook and hopes
someday to be a chef. She loves Cherry Pie and Meatloaf, she
does not seem to hate any type of food and is willing to try
about anything. Her favorite subject in school is Home
Economics, and she really dislikes her Physics class. Her strong
points seem to be Cooking and Her Fighting Spirit.
Lita is a very
good person, but seems to have a violent side as well. This
tends to come out when her friends or herself are threatened.
She usually resorts to violence instead of thinking about
things.
When Lita becomes Sailor
Jupiter, she is strong enough to defeat any opponent with her
strength alone, but usually uses her attacks instead (more
impressive!). A few times she has even destroyed a monster
without the help of Sailor Moon! In the fourth season she gains
the ability to become Super Sailor Jupiter.
